It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces its newest affiliate, South East Sharks Volleyball Club.
South East Sharks Volleyball Club has a strong member base of 75 volleyballers and has plans to join us at a range of 2021 competitions, including the Queensland State Championships, Queensland Country Championships, Premier Volleyball League, and Metro League.
It what has been a challenging year for all sporting organisations, it is great to see our community of volleyballers continue to grow. As an organisation, we are excited to see what the new year brings, particularly as we welcome our most recent affiliates to our indoor and beach volleyball events.
Ned Talay, Club President of South East Sharks Volleyball Club, said:
“South East Sharks Volleyball Club are thrilled to join the Volleyball Queensland family and our Club sincerely appreciates the efforts of the organisation in assisting our Club over the past few months.
“In addition to competitions and events, our Club has a strong focus on junior development, whether that be supporting athletes, coaches, or referees, and we will be hosting a variety of camps and junior sessions in 2021.”
