It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces its newest affiliate, Elite Volleyball Club.
Elite Volleyball Club has a growing member base, with 70 passionate volleyballers and has already tasted success at Volleyball Queensland, winning gold in Men’s Division 1 and Silver in Women’s Division 2 during the 2019/20 Metro League Summer competition.
Mei Leong, Club President of Elite Volleyball Club, said:
“We are excited to continue growing as the organisation and being part of the Volleyball Queensland family is an important part of our future development.”
“Although it may be uncertain when we can next take to the courts, we are looking forward to further building our competitive volleyball community and meeting our new affiliate partners at local tournaments and competitions including PVL, Metro League, and Dragon’s Flaming Chalice.”
David Stokes, Club Services Coordinator at Volleyball Queensland, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Mei and Elite Volleyball Club as Volleyball Queensland’s newest affiliate club.”
“Our affiliate clubs and associations play a vital role in not only in the success of our organisation but in growing and raising the profile of our great sport, and we look forward to welcoming the members of Elite Volleyball Club and their wider volleyball community to future competitions, camps and tournaments.”
We are looking forward to working with Elite Volleyball Club and invite the wider Volleyball Queensland community to make them feel welcome.
