Volleyball Queensland (VQ) is calling for Expressions of Interests (EOI) to be standing members available to participate on Judiciary/Tribunal Panels.
VQ has only had three tribunals empanelled in the past ten years but to ensure best practice, we are establishing a list of interested and suitably experienced people.
The Chair of the judiciary/tribunal hearing will be appointed by VQ on a case by case basis, with this person requiring knowledge, or experience, of the relevant laws/rules for the respective matter. All panels would comprise three members. Panels may be engaged to undertake any of the following three activities: investigations, mediation, and/or tribunal hearings; across all aspects of the sport, including competitions and member protection.
Applicants must be current members of VQ and should familiarise themselves with VQ’s Complaints Handling Procedure and VA’s Member Protection Policy which can be found on the Policies and Procedures page of the website.
EOI applications must be submitted using the online application form and include a cover letter of no more than 300 words along with a current CV.
EOI’s close at 11:59pm, Tuesday, 11 December, 2018.
