Queensland State Championships

Held annually, Volleyball Queensland’s State Championships brings together volleyball associations and clubs from across Queensland. The event features two separate tournaments: the Junior State Championships and the Senior State Championships, providing a platform for athletes of all ages to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

Teams vie for two of the state’s top titles – the VQ State Championships and the VQ President’s Shield, awarded to the best-performing association or club across all divisions. Each tournament features multiple divisions, ensuring a competitive yet accessible environment for all skill levels.

This exciting event draws volleyball enthusiasts from across the state, featuring intense competition and showcasing the best of the sport.

2025 Queensland Junior State Championships

Date: 28-29 June 2025
Divisions:
Divisions are offered in both boys and girls

Under 19 – Division 1 / Division 2
Under 17 – Division 1 / Division 2
Under 15 – Division 1 / Division 2

*Players must be under the stated age for the full calendar year of the competition (e.g. to be eligible to play for the U17 Division a player cannot turn 17 in the year of the competition).

Membership: All athletes must be current financial members of VQ
Player Clearance Form: A player clearance allows your current club to grant permission for you to play with a different club during the 2025 Volleyball Queensland Junior State Championships.
