VQ Board Sub Committees
The purpose of the VQ Schools Sub-Committee will be to provide advice and recommendations to the VQ Board of Management on all school volleyball activities throughout Queensland. There will be three broad areas comprising the Sub-Committee’s terms of reference;
- Advice and development of School Volleyball.
- Review and provide recommendations on School Volleyball competitions.
- Teacher and student coaching and refereeing accreditations.
Members serve on the VQ Schools Sub-Committee for two years, with an annual rotation of 50% of its members who are eligible to stand for appointments which are made by the VQ Board of Management.
The Committee reports to the Volleyball Queensland Board of Management (Board) through the Chairperson.
Those who seek to be on the VQ Schools Sub-Committee are encouraged to review the Terms of Reference, they must be VQ members and hold a Working With Children Check Blue Card.
The purpose of the QVRC is;
- To promote and drive referee recruitment, development, and retention in Queensland for both beach volleyball and indoor volleyball.
- To engage senior and retired Queensland officials in activity that identifies and increases referee participation in Queensland from social to elite levels.
Members serve on the QVRC for two years, with an annual rotation of 50% of its members who are eligible to stand for appointments which are made by the VQ Board of Management.
The Committee reports to the Volleyball Queensland Board of Management (Board) through the Chairperson.
Those who seek to be on the QVRC are encouraged to review the Terms of Reference, they must be VQ members, experienced match officials and hold a Working With Children Check Blue Card.
The purpose of the Queensland Beach Volleyball Committee is;
- To help create, promote, and support the development, and retention of Beach Volleyball in Queensland.
- To be the communication conduit and sounding board between the beach volleyball community (players, promoters, coaches, referees etc) of Queensland and Volleyball Queensland.
Members serve on the VQ Schools Sub-Committee for two years, with an annual rotation of 50% of its members who are eligible to stand for appointments which are made by the VQ Board of Management.
The Committee reports to the Volleyball Queensland Board of Management (Board) through the Chairperson.
Those who seek to be on the Queensland Beach Volleyball Committee are encouraged to review the Terms of Reference, they must be VQ members, have a background in beach volleyball across all its facets and hold a Working With Children Check Blue Card.
