This month Volleyball Queensland will experience a couple of staffing changes.
After four years, at the end of this month, our Administration Officer, Tori, is leaving VQ for the excitement of London. Todd, who has filled in as Events Coordinator during Damien Searle’s secondment to GOLDOC for the Commonwealth Games, is also leaving the VQ office to pursue new career opportunities.
On behalf of VQ, we would like to express our gratitude to Tori and Todd for their efforts, and wish the all the best for their future endeavours.
Filling these positions, we will be welcoming back a legacy member of staff and introducing a new member to the team.
In July, Damien will return to VQ to manage our growing events portfolio. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Damien, he is a valued staff member at VQ, bringing a wealth of knowledge and personal experience to the the office and delivering many of the volleyball and beach volleyball tournaments our members enjoy.
We will also be welcoming Kathryn, who starts in the office this week, and will take over as our new administration officer. Kathryn has extensive administrative experience with sporting organisations, previously working for Tenpin Bowling Australia and National Rugby League. She also has a strong sporting background and looks forward to getting to know our members.
Welcome Kathryn, and welcome back Damien!
